Calotropis acia is a strong medicinal plant, which is seen in india , sriLanka , china. It contains a cytotoxin, so it should be used as a medicine cautiously. The latex obtained from the plant is used to induce vomiting as well as purgation. The astringent action of the herb makes it beneficial for the treatment of many skin diseases. It is used for treatment of rheumatism, vitiligo , painful joints, leukoderma, mumps, pain in ear etc.
Decoction of the calotropis procera is commonly used in saudi arabian conventional medicine for the treatment of diseases like different fevers, joint pain, muscular spasm and constipation. In india people keep the leaf of this plant over the skin to subside muscle pain.
In a traditional system of medicine in India, for strong sinusitis, an oil is prepared from the Leaf juice of this plant. 2 litres of juice of this leaf ( without adding water while extracting ) is added to a large pot kept on fire and 1 liter coconut oil is mixed with this. It is boiled till water content of the mixture is fully evaporated and the content is reduced to 1 liter. Color of this boiled mixture should not be changed from green to blackish green. At that time, it is taken out ,cooled , filtered and bottled.
This is a good medicine for strong sinusitis, if applied on head, one hour before taking bath. But if the oil colour is darkened due to more evaporation, it will cause negative effects like giddiness etc.

- If you are in big city finding courier service provider is easy and lot of option you will find, but in small city option are few. Normaly private couriers will expect
the customers to come their office and collect parcels. But IndiaPost sends the article to doorstep of the customers.
( If article weighing more than 5 Kg delivery charges are being collected separately while booking itself).
If customer was not available in the location, Postmen tries to deliver the article/parcel next day also.
If next day also customer is not available, they will service a notice to attend the Post Office and collect the article.

- Re-pot the plant immediately after receiving
- Make sure you know the plants is fragile duing shipping leafs maybe get damage but don't worry the plants fast grow they put out new leafs in a week
- Keep the plant in indirect sunlight for 3 to 7 days.
- Always check the soil moisture and keep the plant hydrated all time. Do not over water it.
