The golden shower tree is a medium-sized tree, growing to 10–20 metres (33–66 ft) tall with fast growth. The leaves are deciduous, 15–60 centimetres (5.9–24 in) long, pinnate with 3 to 8 pairs of leaflets, each leaflet 7–21 centimetres (2.8–8.3 in) long and 4–9 centimetres (1.6–3.5 in) broad. The flowers are produced in pendulous racemes 20–40 centimetres (7.9–16 in) long, each flower 4–7 centimetres (1.6–2.8 in) diameter with five yellow petals of equal size and shape. The fruit is a legume, 30–60 centimetres (12–24 in) long and 1.5–2.5 centimetres (0.59–0.98 in) broad, with a pungent odour and containing several seeds. The seeds are poisonous.
The leaves of Kanikonna is used as a medicine against the poison of Spider. These leaves relieve the patient of the irritating itching sensation caused from the bite of the spider.
This tree is essentially a western ghat tree of South India. However the tree grows well all over India where the sun shine is heavy. The tree needs heavy shine on it esp. on April for it to bloom completely. It needs care only in the first 6 months, when it has to be regularly watered and treated with manure. Once it grows as a tree, it needs no regular care - its rain fed.

- If you are in big city finding courier service provider is easy and lot of option you will find, but in small city option are few. Normaly private couriers will expect
the customers to come their office and collect parcels. But IndiaPost sends the article to doorstep of the customers.
( If article weighing more than 5 Kg delivery charges are being collected separately while booking itself).
If customer was not available in the location, Postmen tries to deliver the article/parcel next day also.
If next day also customer is not available, they will service a notice to attend the Post Office and collect the article.

Dos & Don’ts After Receiving the Plant
- Re-pot the plant immediately after receiving
- Make sure you know the plants is fragile duing shipping leafs maybe get damage but don't worry the plants fast grow they put out new leafs in a week
- Keep the plant in indirect sunlight for 3 to 7 days.
- Always check the soil moisture and keep the plant hydrated all time. Do not over water it.
